FILM 1 - Hotel Bidesoa

A brand film for Hotel Bidesoa, shot primarily with available light and minimal additional lighting. The project tested the limits of mobile cinematography while working quickly and discreetly within a functioning hotel environment.

Shot on iPhone

Commissioned by Tantor Films and ShiftCam Lenses in Santiago, Chile, John directed two short films on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, testing mobile filmmaking for commercial use.

Celebrating METEOR, OURANOS and WINGS OF PEGASUS, the works draw on classical mythology, celestial time and choreography by Garry Stewart to translate raw materials, crystals and metals into gestures of creation, ritual and transformation.

Chabe

Josie
