John Tsiavis is a multifaceted artist whose work spans portraiture, entertainment, and fashion photography and directing brand films, documentaries, and television commercials. Splitting his time between Los Angeles, Mexico, and Melbourne, Tsiavis has received finalist awards in the Head On Portrait Awards and the National Photographic Portrait Prize. Shortlisted as an Emerging Director at the 2023 AWARD Awards, he secured wins for Best Short Director and Best Australian Documentary at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival in 2022, and his short films earned recognition at festivals including the Toronto Short Film Festival, New York Indie Shorts Awards and St Kilda Film Festival.
His clients include DISNEY, HBO, NBC, BRAVO, STARZ, A24, NICKELODEON, SONY, CROWN HOTELS and NINTENDO and his work has been published in titles as diverse as Esquire, Rolling Stone, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ and Flaunt magazine.
